Watercolor of my OC, Sarah, to start the DELETER sketchbook my friend Doria-Plume offered me for my last birthday. The points I would like to improve next time are her nose, eyes and skin.
This scene is happening during the 3rd part of my horror novel Cold Blood, taking place in Russia. At this period of time, Sarah has become able to turn herself into the ice dragon, more or less entirely, depending on her will.
Most of the time, she has a hybrid appearance : human body with ice spikes on her back, like a dragon, a reptilian tail, scales around her eyes and covering her arms, silver dragon claws. Her legs can be human or dragon ones, depending on the situation. She also grows wings quite often. She also have fangs like vampires.
I wanted to make her have a ghostly appearance, because of traumatic things that happened previously in her life, lefting her scattered. This is the time when she is losing her innocence to become more wild, lefting a big part of her humanity during the process. She is looking through another part of her identity, as a Moïra (learn more about them, here : Moiras [FR] : Transformations et pouvoirs).

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactThis caught my eye right away. I love her! I like fantasy, magical art, and she's mystical. The technique is smooth, and it is obvious the artist can art from an inspired place, making a beautiful work of art. It's awesome this is part of your books, too!
There's something very captivating about a woman all in white, and if I were to see her in real life, I'd think I was seeing a phantom.
I love how the blue highlights are all through the art, but when I look at it I mainly see white. Thanks for submitting this! I'm glad I found it.
